NEW DELHI, Aug 20: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Kashmir Provincial Leader and Delhi Cabinet Minister Imran Hussain said today that the party’s pro-people policies are receiving overwhelming support from the masses all over India including Jammu and Kashmir.
Imran was addressing the party workers at a ceremony held at the party office where a senior politician from the People’s Democratic Party and a well-known socio-political figure from Kashmir, Nazir Yatoo, joined the Aam Aadmi party. He said that the joining of the Party of such great J&K political leaders shows that the Party is getting stronger day by day and the time is not far when people will elect the AAP for their development.
He said that Nazir Yatoo is a big J&K political face from Charar-e-Shareef in Kashmir. He is not from a political family but has proven that hard work in political areas pays off even if you don’t have a political background. Imran affirmed.
Yatoo had been a lecturer from 2005 to 2007 and had resigned from the profession to enter politics. He has held various important positions at J&K, including Vice Chairman of J&K Cements and was a candidate in the Assembly polls of the Assembly segment of Charar-e-Sharif.
While interacting with the media, Nazir Yatoo said J&K was going through a state of uncertainty with the whole of UT in chaos with poor governance, poor public service delivery system and lack of approach to address the grievances of the masses affecting everyone’s life. He said that the AAP led by Arvind Kejriwal is now a great beacon of hope for the whole of J&K and that the public aspirations of this party and its leader are high.
He further stated that the massive public support for the AAP in J&K was increasing day by day and the gathering of faces from all sides was a clear indication of that.
